An exciting opportunity has arisen for YOU to join our new contracting division, forming part of our ground working gang on site in Blackburn.
We’re looking for a person who will fit in to working in a fast paced environment as part our new ground working team. Experience in a similar role is ideal. The ideal candidate will be able to work as part of a team in an effective and timely manner, along with being able to use own initiative and knowledge as and when required.
Role will include: (below list not inclusive)
- Clearing the construction site of vegetation or carrying out any other site clearance
- Removing old drainage or other pipework systems
- Leading any necessary demolition required to enable site work
- Preparing the ground for the building team to lay the foundations
- Setting up the construction site
- Digging trenches and laying concrete
- Laying pavement, driveways and kerbs
- Operating Machinery, whilst maintaining safe and efficient operations
- Loading the plant and HGV vehicles correctly with the required materials
- Following all Health and Safety Procedures to ensure the safety of self and those around you

Pay and Benefits Package
- Hours of work: 7am-5:00pm, Saturday morning (if required) 7am-1pm
