Job Summary

To assist with the day-to-day operations and smooth running of the company’s warehouse. Including management of daily deliveries, stock movements and goods out.

Working hours: · Monday to Friday, between 07:30am – 4:30pm, 1 hour for lunch

Main Responsibilities:

·- Be point of contact for incoming deliveries

- Liaise with suppliers and delivery companies

- Check all delivered goods are received as expected

- Notify recipient/s of delivered goods

- Keep accurate records and ensure all delivered are logged

- Receiving, storing and picking/packing stock items

- Dispatching and labelling parts/materials for returns in line with requests

- Unloading vehicles and containers as required

- Stock control, placing replenishment orders as required

- Keep accurate records for movement of company tools/equipment

- Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary

- respond to and deal with internal/supplier communication by email and telephone.

- Ensuring that all damage and discrepancies are acted upon efficiently

- Monitor waste & skip levels arranging swaps/collections as required

- Workplace health and safety standards and for the security of the building and stock

- Responsibility for opening of warehouse and other site areas

Any other duties as reasonably required

Education/Training/Qualification

- Good written and oral communication skills

Skills/Aptitude/Knowledge

- Self-motivated

- Organised

- Works well as part of a team

Experience

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable

Education/Training/Qualification

- Fork Lift Truck Operators Licence

- Full UK Driving Licence

Skills/Aptitude/Knowledge

- Knowledge of Procurement processes

Experience

- Good negotiation skills
