Head of Finance

Role Description:

Due to the growth of the business, our current finance lead is moving into another role within IMP. We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the business’ growing finance function.

Key responsibilities:

· Creating monthly management accounts and forecasts

· Creating and managing budgets

· Responsible for monthly payroll, including RTI and pension submissions

· Managing all finances in Xero

· Managing the recording of all signed agreements and therefore deferred income in the billing software

· Responsible for completing and filing VAT returns

· Responsible for year-end reporting

· Liaising with professional advisors

· Leading and supervising the work of the finance team (currently 1 other but likely to grow)

Skills and experience:

· Qualified accountant (or QBE)

· 3-5 years’ experience in a finance role

· Previous experience using Xero preferred

· Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
