We’re seeking a talented Transmission Operator & Broadcast Scheduler, who will oversee the channel’s on-air broadcast presentation.

Manoto TV, our flagship channel, presents the very best in fresh and original Persian language programming, broadcasting daily from London via free to air satellite to over 40 million viewers across Europe and the Middle East.
Whilst our programming is Persian-language, our day-to-day working language is English.
About the role
Your core duties as Broadcast Scheduler & Transmission Operator will involve:
- Managing and populating playlists with correct media assets
- Managing secondary events, including promos, graphic and branding elements
- Managing live streams to web and VoD content delivery
- Building schedules within the traffic system
- Populating channel branding graphic templates
- Retiming daily schedules to allow any last minute content to be delivered
- Carrying out daily schedule checks to ensure content is correct before uploading the playlist.
- Updating the content library within the MAM system.
- Ensuring the effective placement of promos, fillers and channel branding while building schedules
- Uploading the daily schedules.
- Monitoring the on air and off air channel signals.
- Working closely with both Post Production Support and Promos Department
- Archiving and restoring material using LTO library
About you
This is an ideal role for a good team player with a flexible and adaptable attitude. To be successful in your application, you will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- A good understanding of Broadcast Traffic systems, Automation and MAM systems
- Skills to communicate clearly and confidently
- Ability to stay calm and positive under pressure
- A high level of attention to detail
- Aptitude for picking up new skills, processes and workflows
- Experience in a live transmission or streaming environment is a strong advantage.
Days / hours
You will be required to work on a shift rota which will include weekends and public holidays. (No night shifts)
