Nursery Assistant [United Kingdom]


 We are looking for a passionate and motivated member of staff to join our team as a Nursery Assistant. You will assist in ensuring the children in our nursery have the best possible care, whilst meeting their individual needs. You will support the Room Manager and other staff in providing a fun, stimulating and calm environment, making sure the children have full access to our curriculum.

Assist in the day to day running of the nursery.

Support individual children ensuring they receive the best possible care.

Support children with meal times and care routines.

Assist in planning activities and opportunities for their individual learning, encouraging their progress within the EYFS. To observe, assess and complete individual child’s learning journeys and liaise closely with parents regarding their child’s development. Report any relevant information to the Room Manager or Manager.

Keep up to date with the latest knowledge relating to your role. This will include attending staff meetings, training as and when required and also involve Trust Mandatory and Statutory training.

To support the aims and objectives of the nursery, Trust and Nursery policies and procedures.

To support the staff to ensure all areas of the statutory framework are met as well as Ofsted guidelines.
